Three million Londoners travel in the oldest underground system in the world everyday. The absurdity of the rush hour is no joking matter, but the commuters seem to be surviving. The Commuter Thrival campaign is an ode and appreciation to the performers of this daily operation. Aim for 'Thrival - not Survival' as Max Comfort once famously said. The campaign will hopefully go public soon in its full glory.

In collaboration with photographer Anja Schaffner and typographer Valerio Dilucente.

Commuter Thrival project received a Michael Peters award for interdisciplinary collaboration in the Helen Hamlyn Design for our Future Selves awards in July 2008.

Copy for the three posters:
'You should see the sweat under here, it's like a river'
'Hey underneath all this I'm smiling'
'There is always space to think'
